Notified (part of Intrado) is looking for a passionate and successful German-speaking Account Manager to work with our successful international team to develop sales opportunities with existing prospective clients.
As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for the retention and growth of the UK customer base across our Virtual&Hybrid Events, Webcasting, PR, IR, and Webhosting solutions. Apart from identifying the opportunities to expand the Intrado portfolio through cross-sell of digital solutions, you will also focus on building long-term customer relationships, and partner with clients to understand their needs, objectives, and challenges, and recommend solutions.

Task will include (but not limited to):
  • Develop effective relationships with key senior-level decision-makers and influencers at an assigned group of strategic customer accounts
  • Provide information about the organisation’s products and services through face-to-face presentations and phone conversations
  • Develop effective territory and account plans and then execute them
  • Locate the appropriate account buyers for renewal and upsell opportunities, and make introductions as necessary for Cross-Sellers
  • Achieve assigned sales billing and bookings quotas
  • Develop and maintain an up-to-date expert understanding of assigned account solutions and understanding of relevant competitor solutions
  • Research and actively identify emerging trends that influence Intrado's value proposition
  • Identify and coordinate timely involvement of sales operations resources in the sales cycle to improve efficiencies
  • Proactively manage pipeline; inputting, monitoring, and updating opportunities in a timely fashion
  
What you will bring…
  • Professional-level fluency in German and English
  • Minimum 3 years of demonstrable experience in a sales or account management role
  • Prior experience in selling SaaS products; Streaming, Virtual Events, PR or IR solutions would be a plus
  • Experience in managing account relationships, identifying additional sales opportunities, and closing deals
  • Excellent communication skills to enable us to build long-lasting business relationships with our customers
  • Negotiation and influencing skills to maximise every opportunity
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; experience delivering compelling presentations to large audiences
  • A team player, demonstrate the importance of working as a team and supporting your colleagues
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in business, marketing, or a related field

As the Director of Customer Engagement, you would be responsible for our Community environment, our Annual Summit, and the overall management and execution of our webinar program. For our Community and Annual Summit, you will own the strategy and execution of both programs, from ideation and agenda/content development to experiential application and ROI.  For our Webinar program, your responsibilities will include working with our Events, IR, and PR Marketing leads to manage and execute the marketing deliverable associated with bi-monthly webinars.  This role will be focused on driving new prospect conversations, engaging existing interested parties and moving them closer to the point of purchase, as well as creating a world-class advocacy community.
Essential Duties: 
  • The Director of Customer Engagement will report to the Global Head of Marketing and will manage our community environment, annual summit and webinar program
  • Community
    • Develop, execute, and revise our community management program, establishing touchpoints and processes for community in collaboration with internal stakeholders
    • Understand and articulate the success metrics of our community using a data-driven approach, monitor, manage and report on these success metrics regularly to ensure high quality results
    • Continually improve the quality and quantity of outreach to prospective, clients through social media, marketing outreach and group programming efforts
  • Webinars
    • The setup, coordination, and production of creative assets (via in-house creative team) to support live webinars
  • Coordination of pre-/post-event email and social media promotion materials (in partnership with Marketing teammates)
  • Speaker management and scheduling (rehearsal, live event)
  • Content outline and run-of-show (co-developed with speakers) 
  • Post-event data hand-off for Salesforce upload and Salesloft activation (in partnership with Marketing teammates)
  • Annual Summit
    • Management of cross-functional teams and stakeholders responsible for critical event functions (Services, Executive, Sales, Marketing, CaaS)
    • Content / agenda development/agenda: Sourcing speakers, contributors, track hosts, etc.
    • Sponsor recruitment and package development
    • Event experience: working in partnership with Product and Service teams to develop event environment, from registration to gamification to networking
    • Event promotion: partnering with Marketing to build and execute an schedule of multichannel promotions to drive registration and event engagement
    • Event evaluation: measure and report on event success metrics aligned with pre-established event goals and KPIs
  • Generate overall brand awareness in the industry through public speaking, industry involvement and thought leadership.
Minimum Qualifications: 
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in community management in a growth-stage company as well as experience managing events and webinars. The successful candidate must bring intellectual knowledge, professional experiences, and personal characteristics that complement the team.
