Client Brief
This was an internal project to demonstrate that its easy to create and manage content that can be displayed on other websites and managed from one location. The site specifically was to target the same market as Moreover.com but on a much smaller scale. With no huge budget to be put to this internal project, it required a common sense and methodical approach to ensure success.
Our Solution
We created a simple site design and a simple JavaScript programme within a CGI bin, that allows us to convert HTML into JavaScript. From the control section, in a password protected area WebContent101.com can edit the news feeds each day and click publish, and all the websites carrying the newsfeeds are updated automatically.
This simple system has the benefit of being able to handle a near infinite number of users it was designed to be fully scalable.
The search engine marketing is proving to be successful with top 10 search engine positions for some highly sought after keywords.
The link within each newsfeed to WebContent101.com provides an excellent source of viral marketing. The links to advertisements carried within the newsfeeds provides the revenue to keep this venture running.
